a couple posts ago i mentioned how i purchased that $10 camera at walgreens and they reload it with free film and so on and so on... well here are some stills from that camera.

free film for two years
went over to walgreens to buy my newest camera.
so here's the deal...
i pay 10$ for a plastic camera.
it comes with film.
shoot 27 pictures.
take the camera back and pay for developing.
then, welgreens places new, free, film back inside.
repeat.
for 10$ i got a camera and free film for the life of said camera.
the camera is guaranteed for 2 years.
seems kinda like a good deal??
ill see how it goes.

Jeff Harris
so... you know those moments or things or whatever that come, unknowingly from now where... those moments that seem to change your perspective so dramatically... open your eyes... enlighten and inspire...? i just had one.
what you see below are 4,018 photographs, compiled one day at a time... week by week. month by month. year by year. all self-shot or directed by jeff harris. In 1999, harris decided to start a project in which he would have one photograph of himself made everyday. Whether it be by his own self-shot means or by whomever he had to assist him, an image was to be made everyday. Now, I'm sure we have all seen those self portrait "one photo a day" projects where individuals take their self portrait, straight on and then play the images in a time lapse, showing progression of time and such... this project, is nothing like that... this is over a decade of a life, with all its passings, adventures, relationships, experiences, emotions, and more.
i dont really know how to sum this up or anything, so i know im rambling... but... if you enjoy life, appreciate time, write in a journal, think about the past, the present, the future... if you seek emotion, adventure, wonder, or amazement... if you need inspiration, stoke, motivation, hope... i would really suggest taking a look at Jeff Harris.
